Some Of Our More Unusual Past Projects.

Chenpump was asked to provide a large centrifugal pump capable of handling abattoir waste in water, such as hooves, chicken feet and offal for a large meat processor in Somerset. We rose to the challenge and supplied a recessed impeller vortex pump capable of handling large suspended solids without risk of clogging or damage to the pump internals.

Chenpump have recently completed a pair of petrol driven gear pumps. The trolley mounted helicopter engine-cleaning units are for the Falklands and are designed to give a precise flow of cleaning media to the engine. This project was designed, fabricated and tested totally in-house at our Penzance facility.
